At Home with the Ogden Family

I provide school portrait services for a few select preschools each fall, and I love when those families contact me for sessions. The kids remember me (a little bit), the parents feel a connection from the get go, and all in all, things tend to start from a place of excitement and ease.

Lauren contacted me with a desire to capture her two kids, their relationship, and their individual personalities at this stage. These college sweethearts have created a very happy home together, and I really enjoyed spending time with them in it. We were able to document activities in their favorite rooms, and despite it being a dreary day, we were able to capture some really great moments outside, too. It’s amazing what can result from a short session at home! I don’t know about you, but every time I watch this, I get goosebumps at one point or another…the connection between the members of this family is truly something special.
