Think of a photo of a biker commuting to work down a city street where the buildings are blurred behind the subject. I recently posted an image like this on IG that got quite a few kind comments about being about to literally feel the wind and the joy in the moment. The technique used in this situation is called panning. It’s not necessarily easy and it takes some practice, but it’s a fun and useful trick to have in your arsenal.
Read MoreI've been really into working with seniors or soon-to-be-seniors. Nothing overdone, just simple photos of who they are, building a personal connection with them in the process. I also enjoy getting to know their families and their interests, and I feel honored to be a part of their senior experience. When I think of Sam, the impression he has left on me is that I hope my son will be like him when he's a junior in high school.
